Quality Education for All is a campaign to ensure every Tasmanian student, in schools and TAFE, receives the individual attention and tailored support they need to thrive. It’s about putting student learning first and giving educators the time to teach.
State and Federal Government cuts to education over the years has meant growing class sizes and not enough teachers and support staff to meet the needs of all students. At the same time administration tasks have grown and educators are now swamped by paperwork, distracting from teaching and learning.
Take the pledge now to convince all political parties -- Liberals, Labor and Greens -- to employ more teachers and cut the red tape so every student receives a quality education.
A Quality Education:
- Putting students first
- Teachers with the time to teach
- Support Staff with the time to support
- Principals and education managers with the time to lead
We need to convince the Tasmanian Liberals, Labor and Greens to commit to funding a Quality Education for All.
